Ayers Staff Comes Together to Help Local Food Bank

This Thanksgiving, Ayers Basement Systems gave back to the community in a new way. Project Manager Bob Dionise and his family invited our staff to participate in an annual fundraiser, Breaking Bread with the Blues, which benefits the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

The Capital Area Blues Society and the Green Door Blues Bar & Grill teamed up for the tenth consecutive year to host the event, which brings musicians and volunteers from around the Capital area to donate their time and talent to help those less fortunate.

For two weeks, everyone at Ayers had a chance to bring in food and cash donations to contribute. The pile grew every day and, after the first week, we had to readjust the furniture to make space for all the food!

Ayers Basement Systems has served the Lansing, MI area for more than 32 years, and helping out our community this holiday season was fantastic.
