Back to School Week: The Importance of Premailers

 In honor of back to school week, or second week back to school, or end of the first month back to school, depending on your district and its ever-changing schedule…

Anyway. It’s back to school time so we’re going to spend the week focusing on education. One of our goals at Ayers is to make sure our customers are educated and informed on the issues occurring in their homes; after all, water and foundations problems can be confusing. We want you to ask the tough questions so you feel secure in your decision to hire us to work in your home. This education starts even before your free inspection.

First, if you’re reading this, you already know about our website. But have you really taken the time to look around? Peruse the “services” menu and do a deep dive into common problems and available products. Check out the links under “our work” and see photos and write-ups from local jobs and reviews from recent customers. Or scroll all the way to the bottom and learn more about the company itself - our affiliations, awards, and the people who make everything run.

But if you prefer to hold something in your hands to read it, we’ve got you covered there, too. After you set up an appointment for your pre-inspection, we send a premailer packet to your home. This premailer contains a letter reminding you of the logistics of your appointment, but also includes a biography of your assigned system design specialist so you know who to expect in your home.

Finally, we include a book that addresses the problems you’re experiencing, be they basement, crawl space, or foundation issues. Reading the book will help you understand what might be happening below your home and will hopefully answer some questions but also help you realize what questions you have at the time of your inspection.

Informed customers are our best customers, and we take pride in doing everything we can to answer your questions from the first call to signing off on the completed project. So pay attention to your premailer, and get your questions ready!
