Meet Ariel Laws, Customer Service Representative
If you’ve called Ayers in the past six months, there’s a good chance you’ve talked to Ariel. I remember walking into the office one morning last year after being away the previous week and wondering which Basement Systems dealer we’d stolen him from - that’s how good he is with our customers.
But he wasn’t stolen, he just has a natural talent on the phone. Ariel is an education major and has worked in our appointment center since last August. If you call us for an inspection, or see us at a trade show and request more information, you can rest easy knowing Ariel will ask the right questions about your home’s problem and pick the right system design specialist to send out.
As I do with all of these profiles, I asked Ariel to send me a quote about work. He misunderstood and sent me a quote from Harriet Tubman, then laughed hysterically when I corrected him and said, “My favorite thing about work would probably be the relationship I have with my coworkers. I've never worked for a company where we actually talk and hang out away from work, and I can honestly say I've made some new friends.”
When he’s not at work or in class, Ariel likes to sing and spend time with his very adorable and very rambunctious puppy, Bash (that’s short for Bashful). Here’s one of the few photos of Bash not in hyperspeed motion.
“It’s impossible to work with Ariel and not have a smile on your face,” says our receptionist Suzy. She’s right - his smile is infectious and we know that carries over to our customers. Keep up the good work, Ariel - we’re glad you’re here.
