System Design Specialist Will Badra Participates in Keller Williams Realty's RED Day
System Design Specialist Will Badra pulls weeds at Ele's Place
Each year on the second Thursday in May, Keller WIlliams Realty associates across the country participate in RED Day. RED Day - which stands for Renew, Energize, Donate - is KW’s annual day of service, where employees are encouraged to get away from the office and spend the day volunteering in their communities. This year, our System Design Specialist Will Badra was invited to participate.
KW Lansing chose to go to Ele’s Place, a nonprofit organization that provides grief support and resources for children and teenagers coping with the death of a loved one. Keller Williams volunteers did everything from landscaping to returning donated cans and bottles to carrying patio furniture up from storage to get Ele’s Place ready for summer.
Will carries a tub of yard decorations to spruce up the patio.
“I’ve lost two people very close to me, and I saw the impact those deaths had on the children in my life, so Ele’s Place is an organization I really believe in,” Will said. “When my friend Deb Federau of Keller Williams mentioned she’d be volunteering here, I jumped at the chance to join her.”
Will and Deb get their hands dirty in the Ele's Place garden.
Thanks for having us, Deb, and thanks to everyone at Keller Williams Lansing!
