Ayers Looks Ahead at 2016 Kickoff Breakfast
Shaking off the last remains of the holidays, over a hundred members of the Ayers team made their way through the snow to the office early this morning to share a meal and prepare for the coming year.
Amongst the 2015 achievements celebrated at breakfast were the revamped and expanded Appointment Center and Marketing departments, the company's achievements in the Basement Systems network, and the induction of seven Project Managers into the Million Dollar Club - those who installed one million dollars in products in 2015.
Owner and President Virgil Ayers spoke of his childhood in West Virginia and gratitude that what started as him, a beaten up truck, and used tools, has become the Ayers of today. "I don't need to get here at 7am, but I still do so I can see the trucks roll out. And the guys inside those trucks are better than the guy pictured on the side," he said, referencing the photo of himself branded on the fleet.
The celebration was an opportunity to reconnect after the holidays and touch base with coworkers who see little of each other due to the nature of the business.
"In 2014, there were 54 of us. In 2015, 75. Today, we're 125 strong," CEO Ed Krieger said. "Our mission statement is 'Just Do the Right Thing," and that's what we're going to do this year. For you, for your families, and for our customers."
Happy New Year to our customers and employees - the best is yet to come.
