Scott previously worked at a food service company and a local television station. A two-time customer of Ayers, he was so impressed with the company that it was the first place he thought of when he decided to make a career change. The team fixed the foundation at his Traverse City home and later encapsulated the crawl space at his cabin in Mesick, Michigan.

He enjoys spending time on Silver Lake, kayaking the Manistee River, participating in CrossFit, working on projects in his yard, and dining out with his wife. The couple has two children and a dog.
