Williamsburg, MI Wall Goes From Drywall to FlexiSpan

Tom of Williamsburg, MI was so eager to have a crack in his basement wall patched up that he removed the drywall for the crew before they arrived. To repair the actual crack, the crew used our FlexiSpan system. The FlexiSpan system works by using two different layers of a flexible sealant. After the first layer is placed into the crack to plug the leak, a second layer is then applied to span the wall and create a pathway for any excess water to drain. But first, the crew installed a drainage system at the foot of the wall, so that any leaking water would have somewhere to go. The waterproof seal will provide the wall with much-needed protection, and after snapping a BrightWall panel into place, the room is just a paint job away from its former beauty.

Jordan had a basement crack that had some water seepage as well as some water seepage from the area immediately below his sump pump discharge. With the water seepage confined to these 2 small areas, we were able to use FlexiSpan to solve the problem. The slab foundation was excavated immediately below the cracks and a dry well a few gallons deep was dug out. This is a space where the water will flow and work its way back into the the ground. The well is filled with stone and the concrete is replaced. A gap along the base of the wall remains open to allow the water seepage to flow into the well. Finally the cracks are covered with a foam layer followed by a layer of our mold and mildew resistant CleanSpace material. The foam creates a space for water to move freely down the wall and the CleanSpace material creates a vapor barrier and allow the water to flow without being seen or noticed, plus it looks great on the walls. Jordan's problem is solved.

Don't let uneven sidewalks leave you feeling stressed out. With new technology we can fix those uneven sidewalks or cement slabs easier than ever before. We inject structural grade polymers beneath the cement which will lift the slab back to its desired height. The polymers are waterproof so you don't have to worry about them washing out, once injected they are there to stay. The hole we have to drill to inject the polymers is smaller than a penny and barely noticeable. The best part is this system only takes about 15 minutes to install so there is almost no down time and you'll be back driving on your driveway in no time.

Robert was tired of cleaning up standing water and decided to find a solution. After contacting us at Ayers Basement Systems, we inspected his home. Our team found water was leaking through the foundation, and the CleanSpace system was perfect for the job. CleanSpace utilizes a heavy-duty plastic liner that creates a vapor barrier to stop water and funnel it to the sump pump! SaniDry Sedona Rids Williamsburg, MI Home of Moisture

Steve contacted us at Ayers for preventive waterproofing in his crawl space! A specialist from Ayers conducted a thorough inspection and determined that no leaks or problems were present other than moderating moisture levels. The team suggested the SaniDry Dehumidifier, which is 10x more powerful than an average household unit. Preventing moisture below your home stops mold from forming and improves the air quality within the home!

Cracked, Leaky Basement in Williamsburg, MI

Tom S. of Williamsburg, MI had a crack in his basement wall that would leak water. His basement walls are poured concrete and his home was built in 1999. This combination creates an environment that could and did lead to a wall crack. This said, Tom called us to have this issue resolved before more problems occurred.

We installed our WaterGuard French drain system and used our FlexiSpan polyurethane crack sealant for this job. The WaterGuard French drain system rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that seeps into the basement from the (cracked) walls. After this water is collected it is redirected to the sump pump to be pumped up and out of the house without you ever seeing it.

The FlexiSpan foundation crack sealant provides a waterproof seal that will withstand even the natural shifting of the wall over time.

Settled Sidewalk Causes Problems in Williamsburg, MI

Robert B. of Williamsburg, MI called us with a problem: the first step and sidewalk section at his home had settled two inches from the top front porch and had caused a tripping hazard of unequal risers for two steps.

Our fix? Our patented PolyLevel injection foam. PolyLevel is lightweight yet durable, making this a perfect solution for providing a long-lasting solution. We begin a PolyLevel project by drilling small, penny-sized holes in the slab at hand, making access points for which the PolyLevel foam can be injected through. After we inject the foam and raise the slab, we refill the holes so they are barely noticeable. In the end, the slab can be walked on within about 15 minutes after the holes are refilled.
