Trained Concrete Leveling & Crawl Space Repair Experts in Watervliet, MI

Mark G. of Watervliet, MI has had three different floor drains installed over the years to try and rid his basement of the water that always leaks in after a rainfall -- and none of them have done their job. The water would come into the basement form the corners and puddle, creating a musty, uncomfortable environment. So, Mark gave us a call.

To remedy this situation, we installed our patented WaterGuard French drain system. WaterGuard rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing -- in a perfect position to catch all the water that leaks into the basement form corners and walls. Once this water is collected, it is redirected to the sump pump to be pumped up and out of the basement. 

Tim M. from Watervliet, MI has a driveway that was sinking before he gave us a call. This can prove to be a tripping hazard and as well as an unslightly appearance for a home. Thus, Tim reached out to us for a solution.

We used one of our favorite products for this project: PolyLevel injection foam. PolyLevel has been tested and is proven to be better at keeping a slab lifted compared to mudjacking. Along with that, the PolyLevel injection process is very non-invasive and once the project is finished, the slab can be driven on within about 15 minutes. 

Jennifer H. of Watervliet, MI had water in a corner of the basement all the time, but just recently it started to get worse. The walls are poured concrete, and water was seeping through where the walls and floors meet. There is a sump pump and dehumidifier, but they weren't working. The home was built in 2001. Jennifer needed a solution, so she called us.

Our fix? The WaterGuard French drain system. WaterGuard rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that seeps into the basement from the walls. After that water is collected, it is directed to the sump pump to be pumped up and out of the home. 

Donna had been worried about her cinder block foundation for quite some time. She had already taken the steps to repairing the crawl space. Our crew had gone out to Watervliet earlier this summer and installed a SmartJack and waterproofing system into the crawl space. While this had done a lot for the structural integrity of the home, the concrete slab that Donna's deck was dependent on had started to sink and crack. Our crew solved the problem with a piering system. Helical piers are installed below the foundation in excavated soil to lift the structure.

However, in this case, the deck was attached to the crack concrete slab. So, the first step for the crew was excavating a few portions of the concrete slab around the perimeter of the deck. Then, with the access to the soil that the crew needed, they drove the piers into deep, stable soil under the deck wall. Lastly, they attached the deck's foundation to the piers, backfilled the area with soil, and poured fresh concrete over the piers. With this final installation, the team was able to give Donna the foundation stability she had wanted for so long.
