We installed our patented WaterGuard French drain system for this project. WaterGuard rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that seeps into the basement from the walls. Once this water is collected it is redirected to the sump pump to be pumped up and out of the home.

Jackie and Jim V. have a home in Vermontville, MI that was built in 1989. Water was coming into their basement in many spots via the wall (top of the wall, running down the wall). They had an issue mainly when it rained heavily. They have a block basement that did not have a sump pump, and the basement was not finished due to leaks.

Our solution? WaterGuard, the TripleSafe, and the SaniDry XP. The TripleSafe sump pump system was installed first. The TripleSafe is a sump pump that provides three levels of protection against water leakage. Whether it be normal water supply, heavy volumes of water, or in the case of a power outage, this sump pump will keep your basement dry. For normal water supply, the Zoeller ⅓ horsepower pump functions. At a heavier level, the Zoeller ½ horsepower pump activates. In the case of a power outage, the UltraSump backup sump pump will pump water on a backup battery.

After that was installed we moved onto the WaterGuard French drain system. WaterGuard rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing collecting water that seeps into the basement from the exterior. Once that water is collected, it is redirected to the sump pump. The WaterGuard system works perfectly with the TripleSafe, in this case. 

To finish this project, we installed the SaniDry XP standing dehumidifier. This beast can collect up to 109 liters of water per day, keeping the air moisture-free. This is the perfect finished touch.
