Severely Bowed Wall Gets PowerBraces in Stanton, MI

These homeowners had noticed their wall beginning to bow a while back. Horizontal cracks in the wall slowly got bigger as the wall visibly bowed. Time was running out and the homeowners gave us a call. Our crews came out and installed a series of 7 zinc-coated steel PowerBraces. These PowerBraces are I-beams that run floor to ceiling and prevent any further damage to the wall. The really cool feature about them is that they have a unique tightening feature that allows the system to be tightened periodically, potentially improving the condition of the wall over time. Now this wall that was a major headache has become a non-issue and weight of these homeowners' shoulders.

Our customer was looking to finish their basement and needed an egress window. The home was made our poured concrete walls and built in the 1980’s. Egress windows are a requirement when finishing your basement or using it as a bedroom for safety precautions. In case of an emergency, you want to make sure your family is safe and that just isn’t possible with submarine windows. You also want to make sure your windows are nice and sealed so no water can get through them and into your basement.

Job Stories From Stanton, MI
Pooling Water Resolved with Waterproofing Systems in Stanton, MI

Ayers received a call from a worried homeowner in Stanton, Michigan, who needed a permanent solution to the pooling water in his basement. Once we conducted an inspection, our system design specialist recommended our WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump systems to Michael. First, with WaterGuard, this top-notch interior drainage system collects water seeping through the walls and directs it to the sump pump. The drain rests on the foundation's footing, avoiding the mud zone. We conceal this system within the floor around the basement walls by pouring concrete over it. Additionally, we installed our three-pump system TripleSafe. Each pump fits in one durable liner and can deal with high volumes of water. The third pump has a battery pack to ensure it runs during power failures. Michael's basement is in much better shape without the pools of water everywhere!

WaterGuard and TripleSafe Installation in Stanton, MI

Mary E. of Stanton, MI has dealt with a water riddled basement for years. The basement would flood when it rained and musty smells were protruding from the basement constantly. Thus, Mary called us to get a professional fix.

We installed two of our favorite products: the TripleSafe sump pump system and the WaterGuard French drain system. The TripleSafe is a sump pump that provides three levels of protection against water leakage. Whether it be normal water supply, heavy volumes of water, or in the case of a power outage, this sump pump will keep your basement dry. For normal water supply, the Zoeller ⅓ horsepower pump functions. At a heavier level, the Zoeller ½ horsepower pump activates. In the case of a power outage, the UltraSump backup sump pump will pump water on a backup battery.

The WaterGuard drain rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that seeps into the basement from the walls. After the water is in the drain, it is redirected to the TripleSafe to be pumped up and out of the home.

Gross Crawl Space Turn Around by CleanSpace in Stanton, MI

Danny R. of Stanton, MI has had problems with his crawl space for a long time -- and lately it has been starting to cause problems. This said, Danny gave us a call.

After a complete inspection, we determined that this crawl space needed to be encapsulated. So, we installed our patented CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is a 20mm thick plastic lining that proves to keep everything you don't want in a crawl space -- out. No water, dirt, critters, or moisture is able to pass through this barrier. And as an added bonus, CleanSpace is made with anti-microbial components that prevent mold growth.
