The new product used is a polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. Leah and Mark contacted Ayers Basement Systems and a thorough assessment was conducted. Our team determined that PolyLevel was the ideal solution. The PolyLevel process involves injecting an expandable foam beneath the concrete slab allowing voids to fill thereby restoring the surface to its original level. Mark and Leah were thrilled with the conclusion of the job!

Harold C. of Ravenna, MI has a mudroom in his home that lies on top of a cement slab. Over the years, this slab has started to sink because it was built on loose soil, or weather has created a void underneath the cement. At the time of Harold calling us, his mudroom had sunken by 3 inches.

Our solution? PolyLevel injection foam. PolyLevel is injected under the concrete slab and quickly fills the void and raises the slab back to its original position. This is done by drilling small, penny-sized holes into the slab, although, these holes are refilled after the foam has been injected. At the end of the project, the slab can be walked on again within about 15 minutes.

Our solution? Well, we installed two of our favorite waterproofing products: the SuperSump and WaterGuard. We started by installing our patented SuperSump premier sump pump system. SuperSump is a sump pump specifically designed to keep your basement dry for long periods of time. Capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour, it is suitable for heavy water intrusion.

Next, we installed the WaterGuard French drain system. WaterGuard rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that enters into the basement. Once that water is collected it is redirected to the sump pump -- the SuperSump, in this case.
