Travis was worried about the slant in his living room floor and knew he needed it fixed soon. After researching his options online, he called Ayers to learn about our foundation solutions. We sent a team of experts to his home to assess the situation and they recommended installing the SmartJacks supplemental support system. SmartJacks are a collection of floor jacks built to last, hot-dipped in galvanized steel and zinc plated. Each SmartJack base is installed two feet below the surface to increase the load-bearing capability. Travis loves having a level living room floor!
This home was previously built as a single story home, but after an addition was made, the foundation began to settle. The home was built on a slab and the walls and floors were starting to slope. There were also multiple cracks on the walls at the joints and a large crack in the concrete flooring.
We used the PolyLevel system to level the settled floor and stabilize the foundation in the home. We first drilled multiple small holes into the floor in order to inject them with specialized polymers. After the holes were filled with the polymer material, they expanded to lift the foundation back to its proper level. This installation caused minimal disruption to the home and ensured the foundation was completely stabilized.
