Our specialists stopped by and recommended the installation of GeoLock wall anchors to fix the issue. GeoLock wall anchors are made of galvanized steel and fastened to the compromised wall. A ground anchor is placed away from the house in undisturbed soil and connected to the wall anchor by a steel rod. Once the whole system is tightened, the foundation wall will be permanently stabilized. Mary is happy she called Ayers and got the job done!

To prevent moisture from entering through the porous concrete walls and gravel floor base, we installed the CleanSpace system. For this installation, we sized and cut the liner to fit the dimensions of the crawl space, covered the entire area and secured it into place. The liner is waterproof and vapor proof to stop any type of moisture from entering and is made from inorganic materials to prevent mold growth.
We also installed SilverGlo wall insulation that has tiny graphite particles that serve as a radiant heat barrier. This insulation also provides a vapor barrier to further prevent moisture from making its way into the crawl space through the walls.
