The customer called because he had water damage on his wood flooring due to water entering the home through cracks in the foundation wall.

Our team of experts installed the SentrySeal system to keep water out. We excavated soil outside of the failing wall in order to paint on the specialized SentrySeal membrane. The membrane immediately sealed off cracks in the foundation wall, therefore preventing any type of moisture from entering the home.

Once the system was completely installed, we replaced the soil outside of the wall and the homeowner no longer had to worry about water damaging his wood floors.

This home had a bowing foundation wall with a large horizontal crack. The homeowner was looking for an effective solution to save his failing wall and potentially shift it back to its original position.

To stabilize this wall, we installed both the PowerBrace and CarbonArmor systems. The PowerBrace system used steel braces that were installed in the floor at the base of the wall and then securely attached to the joists above the wall with steel brackets. After the system was tightened into place, the wall was held in place and would no longer shift or crack any further. We also installed the CarbonArmor system to further prevent the wall from bowing any further. A strong epoxy resin was painted on the wall at the location of each CarbonArmor strap. The strap was then adhered to the wall and secured into place with steel brackets, which immediately stabilized the wall. Both of these systems help to potentially pull the wall back to its original position.

These homeowners were selling their house but they first needed to deal with the crack in their foundation wall that was allowing water to enter the basement. In order for the inspection company to sign off on the home, the cracks needed to be fixed.

Our team of experts installed the FlexiSpan system to repair the cracked wall and take care of any water seepage. This system uses polyurethane to plug the crack in the wall, which prevents water from entering. A drainage pipe was also installed at the base of the wall, underneath the crack, to collect and discard any intruding water that was strong enough to break through the sealant. A specialized drainage layer was installed over the crack that guides incoming water down into the drainage pipes, rather than allowing it flow onto the floor.

Carl and Vickie N. had their driveway and patio slabs mudjacked in the past after they had settled several inches. The problem seemed to be resolved at first, although the slabs sunk once again, causing the concrete to crack.

To resolve this problem properly, we installed the PolyLevel system. Unlike mudjacking, this system uses lightweight polymers that address weak soils that caused the slab to sink in the first place. We drilled several holes in the slabs that we then filled with the specialized polymers that expanded to lift and stabilize the settled driveway and patio. The installation was fast and easily with little disruption to the home and the cure time was only about 15 minutes! To repair the cracks and prevent them from shifting any further over time, we used NexusPro joint sealer. 

Jerri had recently discovered water damage on the wood flooring underneath her basement window. It was a big blow to her because she had been planning on selling the house soon. Her inspection of the windows didn’t reveal any cracks, so she really had no idea where the water was coming from. Wherever the crack was, it was leaking a lot of water. The water damage spread almost a full 12 feet across. Luckily, there was no standing water to cause more damage, but that did little to calm Jerri’s worries about the leak. With nowhere else to turn and still no closer to discovering the source of the leak, Jerri gave us a call.

After investigating the leakage and wet floor boards for herself, our system design specialist recommended our Sentry Seal System to put a stop to Jerri’s problem. Sentry Seal is an exterior solution perfect for large cracks like these, especially when those cracks can’t be seen on the inside.  The first step for the crew was excavating the soil adjacent to the leaking wall. Once the crew had access to the leaking part of the wall below the windows, they began the installation. They applied sticky waterproof resin to both the Sentry Seal membrane and the wall, and then applied the strands of Sentry Seal over the length of the wall. It was very important that the crew covered every inch of the wall, due to the vulnerability of wood floors. The organic material doesn’t stand up very well to water and can become a breeding ground for mold when wet. Finally, after the entire length of the wall was sealed up, the crew backfilled the soil and cleaned up the area.
