A homeowner called Ayers with an issue with a window well that was filling up with water and leaking into the basement. One of our professional System Design Specialists evaluated the issue and came up with a solution.

After consulting with our Specialist, the homeowner decided to install a new egress window to replace the prior window. Our egress windows are constructed to withstand any storm, preventing any more leaks from entering into this home.

Water was entering a customer’s basement through his walls. Not sure how to deal with this, he called our team and we installed BrightWall. Brightwall is made of white, plastic panels that will provide a waterproof and stain-resistant surface. BrightWall will keep water from seeping through cracks in your basement walls by acting as a vapor barrier. Lastly, these walls will help brighten your basement and never need painted or any other maintenance.

The concrete in Marshall’s driveway was uneven so he called our team. To fix his problem, we installed PolyLevel, a system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk by using polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. The process is quite simple and is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes. Also, the PolyLevel system is waterproof and long-lasting.

PowerBraces Secure Wall in Schoolcraft, MI, Home

Paul worried the cracks in his foundation walls would grow and deepen over time. He didn't want structural damage to his home, so he researched and called Ayers for help. We sent a team of experts to his home, and they installed the PowerBrace repair system to secure the wall and prevent further damage. The PowerBrace system connects steel beams to joists above the wall with steel brackets. Once everything is in place and tightened, the wall will be stabilized to the desired position. Paul is relieved his wall is supported now!

Puddles of Water in Schoolcraft, MI Basement

Jim B. of Schoolcraft, MI was having water puddle on his basement floor and would have to vacuum it up before he got help from us. This is a huge problem for a basement -- and we had a solution.

We installed two of our best products for waterproofing: the SuperSump premier sump pump system and the WaterGuard French drain system. The SuperSump is a sump pump specifically designed to keep your basement dry for long periods of time. Capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour, it is suitable for heavy water intrusion.

The WaterGuard drain sits beneath the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that seeps into the basement from the walls. Once this water is collected in the drain it is redirected to the sump pump -- the SuperSump -- to be pumped up and out of the basement.

Sunken Garage Floor Raised by PolyLevel in Schoolcraft, MI

Craig R. of Schoolcraft, MI suffered from a sunken garage floor before he called us. Besides for this being unattractive to the home, a sunken slab of any kind can prove to be a tripping hazard.

We used our patented PolyLevel injection foam to raise this slab. We began the project by drilling small, penny-sized holes in the slab for which to inject the foam through. After injecting the PolyLevel and raising the slab back to its proper height, we resealed the holes with cement -- making this project very noninvasive.

FlexiSpan Installed in Schoolcraft, MI Basement

Jeff V. of Schoolcraft, MI had a crack in his foundation that was allowing water to seep through. The house was built in 2005 and the basement is finished. He tore apart his basement trying to find the crack before he called us.

Our solution to this problem? FlexiSpan. Our patented FlexiSpan polyurethane sealant is perfect for cracks like this. It is 100% waterproof and its flexibility allows it to move with the natural shifting of the foundation wall without losing its waterproofing capabilities.

PolyLevel Lifts Slab in Schoolcraft, MI

Dr. Roger S. of Schoolcraft, MI had a sinking concrete slab (a sidewalk) outside of his office that needed to be lifted. A fallen slab and create a serious hazard and needed to be lifted as soon as possible. So, he gave us a call.

We solved this problem with our patented PolyLevel foam injection. PolyLevel is strong yet light and sure to lift a slab much better than the classic mudjacking ever would. We start by drilling penny-sized holes into the concrete slab for the injection. Once we have injected the PolyLevel, we refill the holes making this a fairly non-invasive project. 15 minutes after the project is complete, the slab is ready to walk on again!

Humidity Problem Solves with SaniDry in Schoolcraft, MI

Michael K. from Schoolcraft, MI called us when he wanted to build out his basement. He was concerned about the water and humidity issues he was having and wanted to look into getting a dehumidifier to take care of the problem.

Our solution? The SaniDry XP upright dehumidifier. This system can take in up to 109 liters of water per day and can absorb particles as small as 2 microns, making this a great system if moisture is heavy in a space. After this installment, Michael no longer needed to worry about humidity in his basement.

PolyLevel Saves a Schoolcraft, MI Garage from Sinking

When Deb and Craig saw that their garage floor was settling, they were immediately concerned. Of course, for their sinking garage but more for the home’s foundation that was resting on the soil nearby. Since the house was only 18 years old, they weren’t expecting or prepared for any major foundation issues. Hoping to find out once and for all if their home was slipping away, the couple gave us a call asking for an inspection and quote.

After taking a trip to Schoolcraft, MI and looking around the area, our system design specialist informed Craig and Deb that home was safe. The settling soil hadn’t affected their foundation. Unfortunately, they were still in no position to celebrate. After all, their garage was sinking away and the inspection revealed another problem. The slope of their concrete slabs was pushing water into the garage under the door. Luckily, our PolyLevel system could be used to treat both of these problems with just one installation. Injecting the waterproof foam under the concrete raised the slabs back to their original height and create a much more stable base that won’t sink away again. After slightly adjusting the height of the garage floor to guarantee that water flowed back down towards the outside of Craig and Deb’s garage, the crew installed a trench drain across the opening to the garage. Any ice that melts or rain water that flows down the gutters will be directed into the drain before it has a chance to reach the inside of the garage. With a leveled garage and a drainage system in place, Craig and Deb’s home shouldn’t have to worry about waterproofing or foundation work again.

Hello! We recently just purchased a home and per the inspection there were a couple things that were brought to our attention that we'd like to have looked at and estimated on. We also have a small spot in our basement along the trim on the floor that has a little bit of dampness on the carpet so I want to have that looked at to see if that might need to be sealed.
