After a free inspection, our System Design Specialist proposed a full crawl space encapsulation to permanently address their moisture issues. The team began by installing CleanSpace® vapor barrier, which sealed off moisture from the dirt floor and walls, creating a dry and healthy environment. Drainage matting was placed beneath the vapor barrier to direct water flow to their new TripleSafe™ sump pump, efficiently removing water from the home. A powerful dehumidifier was installed to complete the system, capturing any remaining humidity and funneling it to the sump pump.

With their crawl space fully encapsulated, Lori and Rick were thrilled to eliminate the musty smell and prevent further damage to their home. The new system gave them peace of mind, knowing their crawl space was prepared to handle Michigan’s heavy rains and seasonal snowmelt.

Brandon realized the cracks in his walls were deepening and hoped to prevent further damage, so he called Ayers for help. We sent our specialists to his home, and they recommended the installation of GeoLock wall anchors. The wall anchors are made of galvanized steel and fastened to the compromised wall. A ground anchor is placed away from the house in undisturbed soil and connected to the wall anchor by a steel rod. Once the whole system is tightened, the foundation wall will be permanently stabilized. Brandon is happy he called Ayers and got the job done!

Dorothy became worried about the cracks in her foundation walls as they grew and deepened. She didn't want her walls caving in, so she called Ayers for help. The PowerBrace system connects steel beams to joists above the wall with steel brackets. Once everything is in place and tightened, the wall will be stabilized to the desired position. We got a call from Joe, a homeowner looking to get an Egress Window installed for his finished basement. We set up an appointment time that worked for him and the installation process began. We replaced his current tiny basement window with this much larger and waterproof Egress Window. First, to address the damage the water had made, Bruce installed SmartJack piers to help the home's Supportworks. He then uses an industrial dehumidifier to remove whatever remaining moisture exists and finally installed a WaterrGuard drainage system to control the flow of future excess water.

Tony knew his basement was filled with water in the spring so to counteract it he wanted Ayers to install a new Sump Pump. Our resident foreman Blade was happy to inspect the area to see if that was the best choice. Blade noticed that the home did have moisture within it so he added a new sump pump, a CleanSpace lining, and IceGuard modification to better help the pump system protect against water damage. Finally, he treated the area with a powerful industrial dehumidifier to ensure the safety of the home.

The PowerBrace System are steel beams that are secured to the floor joist above a home's foundation.
