During the free inspection, our System Design Specialist recommended a combination of foundation repair and waterproofing systems to resolve the issues and prevent future damage. The team began excavating the soil around the egress window to access the compromised foundation. Two helical piers were installed to stabilize and lift the foundation, preventing further settlement. The area was backfilled, and a new egress window was securely installed.

Inside, sections of drywall were removed to address the damaged supports, and the soaked carpet was removed. A WaterGuard® perimeter drainage system was installed to manage future water intrusion, channeling any water to a newly installed TripleSafe™ sump pump. This system ensures water is efficiently redirected away from the home, even during heavy rains or power outages.

With their basement fully repaired and protected, Tom and Maria know their space is safe, dry, and functional. Their egress window is secure, and their home is ready to withstand Michigan's unpredictable weather.
