Shotcrete is a process where a special concrete is sprayed through a hose and onto a surface to make a new cement wall. In this case, Bob's foundation had an opening to the outside, and the home's integrity was in jeopardy. Our team at Ayers Basement Systems determined ShotCrete would solve the issue. This system is sprayed over the rebar as if the concrete was poured on the ground. Bob was left with an entire foundation wall at the end of the job!

Our Helical piers work by transferring the support of the structure from weak, failing soil to deeper, untouched soil or bedrock. Once the soil around the foundation was excavated, the piers were driven deep down. After the piers were attached to the foundation, the crew repacked the soil around the foundation and cleaned up. While Sally and Mike won’t be able to enjoy the newly leveled cottage, the new owners can rest assured that this cottage’s foundation will be safe for years to come.
