Gloria was sick of water leaking in through her basement so she began her search for solutions. She decided to call Ayers so we had a crew come to her home to conduct a free inspection to determine the best solution. From this inspection our System Design Specialists were able to recommend our WaterGuard System as well as IceGuard.
Our WaterGuard System is a sub-floor drainage system meant to collect water seeping into your basement, particularly through the walls. This will be placed around the perimeter of her basement and will be hooked to her sump system to ensure the water goes there rather than her belongings. Then it is concealed with concrete. IceGuard was added for more protection as an antifreeze fitting that goes on her discharge lines. The slotted openings will let water eject away from her foundation and prevents these exterior discharge lines from freezing or clogging in harsh weather.
Gloria was relieved to have these waterproofing measures taken so her home and belongings stay dry!
