Tricia realized there was a lot of moisture seeping through her basement walls and onto the floor. She didn't know how to fix the problem herself, so she researched her options and called Ayers for help. Our experts dropped by her house to examine the issue and recommended installing the CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is applied fully to the walls and floors to eliminate moisture and lined with antimicrobial material to prevent mold growth. Tricia is relieved her basement is dry!

Michelle grew more worried about the water seepage through her basement walls. Her home, built in 1938, needed an updated waterproofing system. She called Ayers for our waterproofing expertise, so we sent a team to inspect the area. Our team recommended our WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump systems. As water leaks in from the walls and puddles on the floor, WaterGuard collects the leaks and reroutes them to the sump pump. We place this interior drainage system within the floor and around the basement walls. We pour concrete over the top of the drain to ensure it blends into the space. Finally, we added our three-pump system that fits in one durable liner, TripleSafe. All three pumps can handle heavy water volumes. The third pump is battery-operated for power failures. Michelle feels grateful for the permanent solution!

This customer of ours had a sinking slab at their home that was causing slanting in the side of the home. This can cause a dangerous structural issue and needed a fix, and fast.

We used our patented PolyLevel injection foam to lift this slab back to its original position. PolyLevel is lightweight and can be installed by drilling small, penny-sized holes in the slab and filling though those. The holes are then filled back in with fresh cement, making this project minimal in its intrusion. 

This homeowner called because she had water entering the basement during heavy rain. The basement was finished at the time, although she wanted to re-do it after the water intrusion was taken care of properly. 

The WaterGuard system was installed to collect and drain water coming in through the wall. To begin the installation, we excavated parts of the floor around the interior perimeter of the basement walls. The flooring was removed so we could place a piping system that collects intruding water from the wall and directs it to the home’s sump pump to be discarded. The pipes were placed slightly away from the wall to make sure any water leakage is able to filter into the system and they were also set on top of the footing to prevent dirt and debris from entering the pipes and clogging them. The excess space in the removed floor was filled with crushed stone and then we covered the system with concrete fill. A small portion of the floor closest to the wall was left uncovered so water could easily enter the pipes. An inspection port was also installed in this system so that we can have access to the system if something isn’t working correctly.
