We insulated his rim joists because small cracks and seams can exist around rim joists. However, after insulating them all of those cracks are sealed off. We put Drainage Matting on the floor to allow for the movement of water under the liner and so that water can be directed towards the sump pump to be drained. Next we installed the CleanSpace Liner which is a thick durable white liner. This liner prevents critters, humidity, and water vapor from passing through.
