Before Ayers Basement Systems stepped in, James and Donna's crawl space was a damp, musty nightmare. Water seepage had taken its toll, creating an unsuitable environment for storing anything. Once our team installed the CleanSpace liner, the transformation was remarkable. The once-damp crawl space is now dry, clean, and usable.
You’ve washed every clothing item in your house but there still seems to be a musty stench wafting around. Instead of using your time cluelessly looking for the problem, call Ayers Basement Systems. Tim and Carol decided to contact us after learning their crawl space was harboring mold, smells, and a ton of moisture.
Our certified systems design specialist determined that the Clean Space Encapsulation System would best combat the family’s issues and ensure a long lasting solution. To fully waterproof Tim and Carol’s crawlspace, our team utilized the crawl space vapor barrier liner, drainage matting and the SaniDry XP. The vapor barrier liner seals the dirt ground, preventing the evaporation of moisture into the air. In combination with the liner, the SaniDry XP dehumidifier eliminates any of the remaining moisture in the air. No moisture means no mold!
A musty smell was wafting through Tim and Carol’s house due to heavy moisture in their crawl space. Our team installed CleanSpace in order to keep moisture out and SaniDry to get all the water vapor out of the air. CleanSpace is a plastic sheet material used as a vapor barrier to restrict all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. The SaniDry XP Basement Dehumidifier never needs to be emptied because the water drains automatically and it is ten times more powerful than typical dehumidifiers.
Mary noticed moisture was entering her crawl space that resulted from the vents. They allowed outside air in, causing moisture to form and making the problem worse. We installed our Everlast vent covers. The Everlast vent covers are made of plastic so they won’t rust or rot. They seal the air out, insulate, and improve the appearance of your home.
We've been told time and time again by building codes and officials that crawl spaces have to be vented, but why? If light can get into your crawl space so can air. Vents let in hot air in the summer, cold air in the winter and they can let water in too. These air can cause your utility bills to be more expensive than they need to be and that moisture can cause mold and no one wants that.
We offer crawl space vent covers that work great to solve all of these issues. Our vents permanently seal the openings so no unwanted outside elements get into your crawl space. They come in black, gray and red to match almost any home.
