This couple was having trouble keeping water out of their basement. They had to vacuum it up often to keep their basement from actually flooding. The customers traveled a lot and wanted to get the problem fixed so they didn't have to keep sending people over to check on the house when they are away. The water was coming in where the floor and wall meet.

We had just the solution to the problem. Our WaterGuard system is a perimeter system that works to collect water when it seeps in through the floor or walls. It then directs the water to the sump pump where it can be pumped out of the basement and away from the home. The system lies above the footing rather than alongside it so you don't have any issues with debris clogging your system. WaterGuard is proven to work and has fixed thousands of flooded basements. 

This home had water seeping into the basement through the walls and the homeowner wanted an effective waterproofing system installed to keep her basement dry.

The first installation for this project was the effective WaterGuard system that used specialized pipes to collect intruding water, rather than allow it to seep into the basement. The floor was excavated around the interior perimeter of the basement and the pipes were placed in the ground. Water entering through the wall flowed down into the drainage pipes and then immediately drained into the sump pump in the home.

Next we installed an additional discharge line on the home with the IceGuard system and a LawnScape outlet attached. The IceGuard system has specialized holes that guide water from the sump pump outside of the home if the discharge lines freeze and are unable to discard water. The LawnScape outlet was attached to the end of the discharge line to discard water out away from the home, which will prevent it from flowing back toward the property and causing further issues.

A leaking wall crack is a vicious cycle. Water comes in through the crack, which degrades the wall and widens the crack, which lets more water in, and so on and so forth. That's what was happening in Heather's basement when she called us. 

Originating at the point where the water line entered the foundation, there was a crack 3-4 feet tall that allowed water in any time it rained or snow melted - basically, any moisture outside quickly made its way inside.

We used FlexiSpan to seal the wall crack, ensuring that it will stay sealed due to FlexiSpan's design. Instead of creating a rigid seal, the material moves with the crack as the wall shifts with changes in the weather, keeping everything sealed and dry.

In addition to the egress window, we sealed a leaking crack with Flexispan and installed a TripleSafe sump pump to take care of some water issues, complete with IceGuard and a Lawnscape outlet on the discharge line.
