Coming from Arizona where basements are uncommon, homeowners Jessica and Anthony were surprised when they were greeted by puddles of water in the basement of their new Michigan home. To ensure their home would be sustainable for the future, the couple began seeking local experts for waterproofing solutions.
After consultation, the couple determined a full waterproofing system would alleviate any concerns about having a wet basement in the future. During installation, we placed our WaterGuard® and FlowGuard® systems to channel all water in the basement to drain into our TripleSafe™ sump pump. The sump pump has three levels of protection and sends water outside of the home at a safe distance away. In addition, we placed our IceGuard® over the discharge line to provide a secondary escape route for the water so that even during Michigan’s freezing temperatures, the water is unable to re-enter the home.
