The fiberglass insulation had started to fall down in this crawl space, and rodents were coming in through holes in the stone foundation. Installation repairs were made before CleanSpace was fitted to completely seal off the crawl space from the earth. Bowed Beulah, MI Wall Stabilized With Wall Anchors

John W. called because the block foundation wall in his basement was bowing inward. He was looking for a permanent solution that would stabilize the wall and potentially shift it back to its original position over time.

We decided to install the Geo-Lock wall anchor system that uses steel anchors to stabilize failing foundation walls. We first installed steel earth anchors into stable soil outside of the failing wall and then connected it to the wall with steel wall anchors. The anchors were secured to the wall with steel rods and tightened to hold the wall in place. The system can even be tightened over time to potentially pull the wall back to its original position- before the bowing occurred.
