Brian realized the support beams underneath his home were decaying from rapid mold growth. He knew this must be fixed, so he called Ayers for help. We sent a crew of experts to examine the issue and recommend a solution. They suggested CleanSpace, an antimicrobial lined vapor barrier applied in one piece to the walls and floors of the crawl space. This encapsulates the area to prevent moisture entry and mold growth. Brian is happy to have a clean and dry crawl space!

Mike and Dee wanted to seal out any moisture that was potentially intruding in their home. Moist air can lead to many more serious problems such as compromising the foundation and contributing to allergens and things that decrease the air quality of the home. To help with this, our team came out and installed CleanSpace, pictured here, and the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SaniDry Sedona is more powerful than any other dehumidifier and drains automatically so you don't have to worry about emptying the water yourself. It will control the humidity and make sure to stop mold growth, kill dust mites, and make your whole home healthier. Clean space is an uninterrupted vapor barrier designed to keep out any unwanted pests, moisture, and mold. This barrier restricts airflow and therefore makes controlling the temperature of the home much easier. CleanSpace is applied to the floors and walls and wrapped around pillars and piers carefully to ensure that the space looks clean and refreshed. Now there are no worries of any moisture in the space or in the air. Mike and Dee are protected from any and all intrusions.

After her husband passed away last Fall, Jane knew she must seek an alternate solution to fixing her wet crawlspace. Jane began noticing that her floors were abnormally cold temperatures and were not improving when the heat was turned on inside the home.
Once arriving onsite, the crew noticed high humidity levels within Jane’s crawlspace over 80% and small signs of mold beginning to form. The crew encapsulated the crawlspace with our resilient liner, CleanSpace®, preventing water vapor and humidity from passing through. By encapsulating her crawlspace, Jane has protected her home from future mold and rot and can enjoy much warmer floors inside.

Timothy wanted his house to be as energy efficient as possible which meant his crawl space being encapsulated. We installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Vapor Barrier which prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through. It protects your structure and insulation from mold and rot by keeping the space dry. The barrier also makes the crawl space an inhospitable environment to pests and the white plastic deters mice and rats. Lastly by sealing the crawl space, you keep the summer heat out of your home and the winter cold away from your furnace, water heater, and other utilities.
Eric had water coming in where the wall and floor meet in the basement of his home. The basement is finished, the sump pump had failed, and he couldn't find a company to come out and take a look at the issue due to the poured foam foundation he has. We were happy to help and had a solution for the water coming in. We installed the WaterGuard system which is a French drain that collects water that seeps in through the walls and drains it to the sump pump. This drain system is installed under the floor but above the foundation to keep it out of the 'mud zone' where the drain could clog. The WaterGuard installs quickly and has a clean finished appearance plus it works for both block walls and poured concrete, ensuring that your basement remains dry in all situations. Since the sump pump that was there was not working, we installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump system which provides three levels of protection in case of a pump malfunction or a power outage and gives the home owner peace of mind that their basement will remain dry. Lastly, we installed the SaniDry XP, a dehumidifier with a powerful blowing motor that keeps dry air circulating throughout the space to dry it out. It can easily be stored in a corner or closet so it doesn't interfere with a finished basement.
Mike and Dee were looking to get their crawl space sealed off and insulated. This is important especially in a crawl space with a dirt floor so that moisture doesn’t threaten to compromise the home’s foundation. Our team came out and installed SaniDry Sedona and CleanSpace to keep the moisture out.

Moisture will no longer be an issue for Mike and Dee and their dirt floor crawl space will have an updated look and floor so they might even be able to use it for storage.
Anthony and Angela are in their dream home but are having nightmares that the home will flood due to a sump pump that does not work properly. We put their minds at ease when we installed the TripeSafe Sump Pump system. This sump pump has three levels of protection and will keep the water out even if there is a pump malfunction or a power outage!
Ginger is doing some renovations to her house and wants to add some landscaping. She has a lot of projects on her list but knew that waterproofing and adding an egress window should be some of the first things to get done.
We installed an Egress Window so there was a safe exit in the basement. The large sized window and the stairs in the window well allow for ease and safety in the event of emergencies. The window, being larger in size, also allows for more natural light to enter the space making it look larger and more inviting.
We then got to waterproofing her basement to keep the water out and the space usable. We installed the WaterGuard which is a French drain that goes under the floor so you do not have an unsightly drain in the basement. It collects the water the seeps into the space and sends it to the sump pump. Ginger did not have a sump pump so we installed the SuperSump sump pump system which is an ideal solution if you have some water intrusion but not severe flooding. We also added the UltraSump Battery Back Up System which keeps the sump pump removing water even if the weather knocks out the power or if the main system gets unplugged. Lastly, we installed BrightWall Basement Panels which is a rigid plastic sheet that is attached to the basement walls. This system is waterproof, washable, and creates a vapor barrier for your basement to keep out water vapor or humidity. By keeping the basement dry and moisture free, you are protecting it from mold growth and rot. The best part is that the white color of the sheets mixed with all the natural light from the egress create a clean, cheerful looking space!
Ronald built his house in 2017 and started to notice that the garage floor was settling. He was shocked because his house is practically brand new and has not incurred the same wear and tear of an older home. Settling can happen quickly, especially if the home was built on unstable soil and then experienced the quickly changing Michigan weather. To make sure his home stays settled and looking brand new, our team came out and installed PolyLevel.
PolyLevel injections are designed to fix sinking and cracking concrete slabs by bringing them back to their original level. This is achieved by using polyurethane foam. The foam expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. The process is simple and done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes. The foam is completely waterproof, minimally invasive, and lasts forever. Now Ronalds garage is stable and safe from cracking.
Steve noticed his main floor was starting to sag and he was getting concerned about the stability of his foundation. To prevent collapse, our team came out and installed SmartJacks. SmartJacks support sagging floor joists and beams. Floors above basements and crawl spaces are vulnerable due to the damp nature of the lowest floor. The SmartJack system is a permanent fix to these issues. It uses steel columns, threaded rods, and a solid base to address any problems your basement may have. Installing this system usually takes less than a day and it provides immediate stabilization. Now Steve can be confident in the integrity of his home and not worry about potential collapse or further weakening of his floor.
Jane is a responsible homeowner that takes pride in her home. Not wanting to take any risks she contacted Ayers to inspect her home. Our foreman Evan inspected the area, seeing a working pump and foundational walls in great condition. Speaking with Jane, Evan recommended encapsulating the crawl space to better protect it from possible moisture damage.
Evan and his team installed a CleanSpace lining to help add an extra layer of protection to the home. CleanSpace is an antimicrobial lining that covers every surface of the crawlspace. It proved a strong barrier between the supportive framework and possible water damage if any moister is inside the home.
Dan just purchased this home last Fall and is concerned with the stability of the foundation walls. He wants the peace of mind to know that they are stable and that nothing will happen. He plans to stay here there for at least a decade. Being a straight shooter, Dan just wanted to know everything upfront and our foreman Blade was happy to comply when he performed his initial inspection.
Blade prescribed a Geolock anchor and fulfilled Dan's request to install an egress window.
GeoLock is installed by excavating the earth on a cracked wall and installing a mental anchor held in place by steel drives. On the opposite side, inside the home, is a steel plate that is placed on top of the wall and is screwed into the wall. A bolt is tightened till the entire apparatus is connected. Geolock pulls the wall into place and holds it there permanently.
To fulfill Dan's request, Blade installed an egress window. The windows used by Ayers allow light to enter and keep heat inside the home. They are installed with a floodproof outside base.
Steve noticed cracks all along his basement wall. The cracks came from a wall growing too close to the home. The tree was dealt with but the home was compromised. Our resident foreman Randy was able to inspect the home and evaluate the extent of the damage. Randy didn't notice damage to the foundation so he prescribed a set of SmartJack piers to restabilize the crawlspace area.
SmartJack piers are metal beams placed strategically along the structure's supportive rim joist. The bottoms are anchored into the ground with poured concrete while the tops are capped with load-bearing joints that are attached to the rim joist. The entire pier's height is adjusted till there is constant pressure being applied, reintroducing support to the entire framework.
Paul was getting irritated by the regular flooding in his basement. Out of at-home remedies, he contacts Ayers for a professional opinion. Ayers foreman Randy was able to listen to Paul's concerns and inspect the area.
There was no water in the home when Randy finished inspecting but knew that this meant the flooding was seasonal. To stop the flooding Randy fitted the drainage system with an IceGuard modification.
IceGuard is a modification that attaches to the pipes of the home's sump pump. Without the mod ice can build up when the pump pushes water through the system, risking buildups and ruptures. IceGuard is a simple attachment that requires no energy to function year-round.
Paul noticed water in his home but only during a certain time of year. The water would disappear by Spring, leaving him frustrated when trying to find the source. He contacted Ayers and had our resident foreman Randy inspect the area. Randy noticed that the outlet pipes connected to the sump pump were not equipped to handle frozen water. Randy decided to install and IceGuard modification to better help the home.

Dave was not pleased to see a series of cracks in his home's garage floor. Wanting the job done right, he contacted Ayers. Our resident foreman Bruce was able to inspect the area and diagnose the problem. Bruce decided the best course of action was to use PolyLevel to even the concrete.
PolyLevel is a spray foam polymer that expands and moves under cracked concrete. The polymer is waterproof and levels the ground as it spreads. It is important not to wait because Polylevel can only be sprayed at temperatures above 40 degrees. When Winter comes not much can be done and the weather can make the damage worse.
John and Susan getting older and wanted to get a ranch, so they just moved into their new Bay City, MI home. Before they began on any cosmetic home improvement projects, they wanted to get the crawl space checked. Susan has been been smelling something musty and moldy since they moved in and it's been bothering her allergies. They called Ayers for an inspection. Our crew determined that they would first need to clear out major dirt and debris from the crawl space, then install CleanSpace and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along basement and crawl space walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth. Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on the moisture in the crawl space, in turn, will cut down on how much it costs to heat or cool the home. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier automatically removes up to 100 pints of water a day from the air in the home’s basement. This system circulates the now dry air through the basement and automatically removes the leftover water so you don’t have to.
John and Susan could instantly breathe easier and were overjoyed that the musty smell in the house disappeared. The job went off without a hitch and the couple are thrilled to begin making their new house a home.
John found water in his basement and wanted a fast solution. He contacted Ayers and had our resident foreman Bruce inspect the area. Evan noticed water damage and drafted a treatment plan.
Bruce decided to install a CleanSpace drainage system to better control future water damage and treated the environment with a dehumidifier to strip the moisture out of the air. Finally, he installed an Egress window upon John's request.
Tim's Pinconning, MI home was built in 1945. It had previously belonged to his mother since the 70s. Years ago, a cement trucked parked right next to the house, cracking areas of the foundation. Since then, the cracks have only gotten worse, forming a major stair-step crack throughout the basement. Water comes though whenever it rains and Tim has to be in the basement with a shop-vac for hours cleaning up the mess.
Tim was looking for peace of mind regarding the home that protected him and his family for years, so he called Ayers Basement Systems. Our crew came out for an inspection and determined Tim would need CarbonArmor to stabilize the foundation, and WaterGuard and CleanSpace to combat the water coming in.
CarbonArmor is a flexible, fabric like epoxy that is 10x stronger than steel. The epoxy adheres to your basement walls and penetrates into the surface to reinforce and stabilize the foundation.
WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through basement walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. It is installed along the perimeter of the basement and on top of the footing of the foundation. CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along basement walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth.
With all of these products combined, Tim is ensured a safe, dry, and sturdy home for years to come. He was thrilled with the professionalism of the crew and great communication throughout the project. He can't wait to start making new memories in his mother's old house!
Daniel realized his home was having structural issues after noticing one of his foundation walls was bowing. Additionally, it worsened the situation when it rained as the wall swelled and moved more. Daniel decided he wanted to find a permanent solution and contacted Ayers. An inspection of his home determined that GeoLock Wall Anchors would permanently stabilize the foundation!
GeoLock Wall Anchors utilize a three-part system that is proven to stabilize and pull the foundation wall back into place! A load-bearing plate is placed in the ground on the opposing side of the wall where load-bearing soil is met. Then, steel rods are drilled through little holes in the foundation wall until they meet the load-bearing plate. Finally, a low-profile plate is bolted into place on the wall and tightened onto the steel rod. Once the system was installed, the anchors were tightened, stopping the Daniels wall from bowing and will eventually bring it back to its original position!
Steve was looking into getting a better support system for his basement that would keep his home stable. He called up Ayers hoping for help with foundation solutions and so we had our customer care team set up a free inspection time for Steve. From these free inspections our System Design Specialists are able to come up with the best course of action with our proper recommendations implemented. SmartJacks ended up being the best solution for Steve as these are steel support columns that hold the weight of the home along with the solid base we install in the floor they are placed on and attached at the top is a steel support beam. The steel columns can be adjusted whenever necessary and will raise the floors back to their original position. So if you have been dealing with bouncy or sagging floors, this will take care of that pesky issue also. This is a permanent solution that provides great strength and stability to the support system of the home. Steve was relieved after the SmartJacks were installed now that his home is a safe space for his family!
Ginger had a problem area in the basement. Water leaked through the basement walls, so it was time for a professional resolution. Our team at Ayers installed our WaterGuard system as the first measure to prevent this issue. This interior drainage system collects wall leaks and directs them to the sump pump. Our crew installs the drain within the basement floor below the walls, then conceals it with concrete. Next, we installed TripleSafe to keep up with the heavy volumes of water. This system consists of three pumps. The last pump is battery-operated for power outages. Ginger is astonished by the results that leave her basement floor dry permanently!
Brian noticed a musty smell in the living area of his home and wasn't sure where it was coming from. He inspected his whole house and eventually ended up in the crawl space. Brian realized there was decay and mold growth and called Ayers for help. A crew of professionals examined the issue and recommended the CleanSpace vapor barrier. Cleanspace is an antimicrobial lined material applied continuously to the crawl space walls and floors to prevent moisture and mold growth. Brian is excited to breathe fresh air throughout his home!
Wet and humid conditions were plaguing the crawl space of this Bay City home. The high humidity began discoloring the subfloor, creating the perfect mold conditions. A musty smell was being drawn up from the unprotected crawl space and into the home, threatening the health of the customer's air quality throughout the space. Wanting to address the issue, the homeowners contacted us for an inspection.
Ayers System Design Specialist Rick ventured out to their home to find an insufficient sump system was responsible for the retained moisture. The crew got to work excavating the dirt floor and installing a TripleSafe sump pump capable of drawing in water intrusion and redirecting it up and away from the crawl space.
Thanks to a professionally installed sump system, our customers can now rest easily, knowing that water will no longer threaten their health or the structural integrity of their homes.
