Crawl Space in Bath, MI Transformed

Crawl Space in Bath, MI Transformed Crawl Space in Bath, MI Transformed

Homeowners in Bath, MI were experiencing water leaks in their crawl space. It's common for concrete block and cinder block walls to experience this, as they are porous, leaky, and known to have low water resistant properties.

To block any more water from entering the crawl space, we wrapped the area and piers in CleanSpace, a liner that acts as a tough barrier making it impossible for moisture to get through. CleanSpace is durable, mold resistant and completely seals off the home from the earth. Ta-da! Crawl space transformed.

Have you noticed your cement driveway starting to sink in spots? If so, we have the answer for you. This customer called because their driveway was sinking and cracking in many different spots and they needed to get it fixed. However, often times this can be very costly because people want to come in and remove all the concrete with heavy equipment and put new concrete down. This does not fix the real issue though, and its also very disruptive.

We offer a non-disruptive and less costly way to fix your driveway called PolyLevel. Small penny sized holes are drilled in the concrete and high-density polymers are injected to lift the concrete back up to its desired height. The best part about our PolyLevel is that it is cured and can be driven on 15 minutes after installed.

This homeowner just noticed that the crawl space had some water damage on the walls and floor although they suspected it had been happening for a while. There was no standing water but the water had been coming in from the walls. We installed Drainage Matting on the floor of the crawl space to allow water to flow and be directed to the sump pump to drain. We then installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier which is a thick durable liner similar to a pool liner. This liner prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through it. By keeping your crawl space dry, you are protecting your structure and insulation from mold and rot.

Job Stories From Bath, MI
Unleveled Bath, MI Sidewalk Restored With PolyLevel

These homeowners called because they were looking for a solution to the settled sidewalk leading up to their Bath, MI home.

We used the PolyLevel system to lift and level the crooked sidewalk slabs. We drilled multiple holes in the slabs in order to inject them with specialized polymers that expanded to lift the sidewalk back to its proper level. The polymers addressed the weak soil issue below that caused the slabs to sink in the first place and have a quick cure time.

Bath, MI Crawl Space Encapsulated With CleanSpace

Chad L. contacted us because he wanted to encapsulate his damp, wet crawl space.

We installed the CleanSpace liner on the floor and the walls of the crawl space to seal the space off from the outside environment. The waterproof and vapor proof liner is extremely durable, resistant to mold growth and eliminates any type of moisture that could enter the space through the walls or the floor. We also made sure to wrap the piers in space to protect them from ambient moisture.

Waterproofing Wet Basement in Bath, MI

There is a corner of this Bath, MI home that had some mold and mildew growing due to moisture seeping in. The basement was partially finished and there was drywall up, so the homeowner wanted the problem resolved before further damage to his basement occurred.

The WaterGuard system was installed to gather intruding water and discard it into the sump pump, rather then it flowing onto the floor of the home. The perimeter or the basement flooring at the base of each wall was removed to place specialized drainage piping. Water entering the home drains into the pipes and is then carried to the sump pump to be pumped out of the home. We also made sure to install an inspection port that gives us access to the underground system if we ever needed it.

We also installed BrightWall paneling to the walls to improve the look and feel of the basement and prevent moisture from entering the home with its waterproof and vapor proof qualities. This paneling also works well with the WaterGuard system we installed because it directs water coming in through the wall down into the system automatically.
