Before
This was during the inspection of Pat's home. This was just one of the cracks and was about an inch wide. The entirety of the basement stairs started to shift as well.
WaterGuard
WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through the walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. It is installed along the perimeter of the basement and on top of the footing of the foundation. Concrete is poured on top and regular flooring can be placed on top.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe sump pump system utilizes three pumps in order to remove excess water from the basement. The second and third pumps are in case of emergencies so the basement can remain dry, even when the power goes out.
Exterior Discharge Line
An exterior discharge line is a drain leading to a low point of the property, sending water away from the home. Since the system is inside, there's no dirt to clog it up and water is discharged effectively via the sump pump.
PushPiers
PushPiers are round steel tubes that help carry the load of homes that are sinking or settling. It has a bracket that is secured to the footing of the foundation and is driven into the soil below. The weight of the home is transferred from the unstable soil to the steel pier.
CarbonArmor
CarbonArmor is a flexible, fabric like epoxy that is 10x stronger than steel. The epoxy adheres to basement walls and penetrates into the surface to reinforce and stabilize the home.
GeoLock Anchors
GeoLock Anchors permanently stops foundational shifting. The anchors have 3 parts. The first part is a plate on the interior foundation wall. A steel cable is drilled through the plate into the soil, directed away from the home. Finally, another plate is anchored to the other side of the cable for maximum stabilization.
