Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: South Haven, MI Basement Waterproofed

Whenever it rained, these South Haven, MI homeowners would find water in their basement. Luckily Ayers is in the business of fixing this problem, so we visited the home to install a waterproofing system. We also upgraded the cement walls by adding BrightWall Paneling which brighten up the basement, but won't get ruined if they get wet.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

This sump pump collects all of the water from the WaterGuard system and pumps it out of the basement through a discharge line. TripleSafe has 3 pumps within the sump so it can handle large amounts of water-one of the pumps is battery operated, so the sump can even work if the power goes out.

WaterGuard Installation

WaterGuard, a subfloor drainage system, is installed around the perimeter of the room to collect water from wall leaks and reroute the water to the sump pump/

BrightWall Meets WaterGuard

While BrightWall improves the look of the walls, it's also functional and works with the waterproofing system. The panels are made of all inorganic mater, and allow for wall leaks to drain behind the panels directly to WaterGuard along the floor. This way, leaks are controlled, and the walls never show it!
