As seen above, water was accumulating in Robert's space, and our crew wanted to act fast! Our team determined that the water was leaking through areas in the foundation.
Implementing Drainage Matting
Robert opted to install a vapor barrier, and our team suggested drainage matting. This matting creates paths for water to flow underneath the liner, preventing water from pooling up!
Laying Down the Crawl Space Liner
Robert opted to install the CleanSpace system. This system utilizes a heavy-duty plastic liner that creates a moisture barrier preventing water from entering the space! It will also help reduce the amount of moisture in the air.
Choosing the TripleSafe PowerHouse
Since Robert did not have a sump pump in his crawl space, our team suggested the TripleSafe unit. This system utilizes three pumps within one-liner for maximum protection. The last pump is attached to an external battery to run even if the power goes out!
SaniDry Dehumidifier Setup
Lastly, Robert opted to install the SaniDry unit to eliminate the high moisture level in the space. This unit is ten times more capable than an average dehumidifier, and everything will drain into the sump pump! After working with Ayers, Robert no longer had problems with water in his basement!
