This is Edward's crawlspace prior to the installation. It was being held up by cinder blocks, was extremely dirty, and smelled horrible. Our crew was determined to give Edward and his wife their peace of mind back regarding their crawlspace.
SmartJacks
SmartJacks are steel supports that balance the foundation of the crawlspace, lifting it to its original position. They can be adjusted so the home will never shift out of place and are anchored into the ground with poured concrete. This fixed the floor joists in the home and will ensure that it will be stable for another 4o years for Edward and his wife.
CleanSpace Wall System
CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along basement and crawl space walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth. Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on the moisture in the crawl space, in turn, will cut down on how much it costs to heat or cool the home.
Drainage Matting
Drainage Matting is a liner for the crawl space that is placed underneath the CleanSpace plastic liner. If the crawlspace ever floods, the dimpled mat allows water to pass underneath to the drain and sump pump. Edward and his wife were grateful for this preventative measure to keep their crawlspace dry.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier automatically removes up to 100 pints of water a day from the air in the home's basement. This system circulates the now dry air through the basement and automatically removes the leftover water so you don't have to. This will circulate fresh air around Edward and his wife's home, eliminating the musty odor as well as keeping it dry.
