Photo Album: Stabilizing a Bowing Wall in Battle Creek, MI

Our customers called with a cracked, bowing wall in a home they had recently purchased for their disabled son. It needed to be repaired before they could move him in, and they worked out of town so this was a matter of timing and speed. We used PowerBraces to secure and stabilize the wall. Over time, the braces will be able to be tightened, which keeps everything stable and could straighten the wall eventually.

Attempts at DIY Solutions

Clearly this wall crack was leaking water at some point, because the previous owner tried to fix it themselves with some sort of DIY crack filler. Spoiler alert - these don't work.
