Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

A customer from Kalamazoo told us about their garage, they said that their garage floor was cracking right at the car entrance and caused a bumpy ride when entering the garage. We came over to their house and saw the issue first hand and we decided that they need PolyLevel. PolyLevel is an advanced polymer injection foam that we blast into the concrete to level it out and make it stronger than ever before. PolyLevel worked to raise and level out the concrete slabs while dealing with the weak soils below that were no longer able to hold the weight of the home above. We drilled multiple small holes into the concrete slabs in order to inject them with a polymer material that expanded to lift and level out the concrete. Once injected, the system only needed about 15 minutes to fully cure and the slabs were then stabilized and lifted to their proper level, and stronger than ever before. Now, this homeowner will not have to worry about this ever again.

One afternoon we received a call from Don, a home inspector and homeowner in Kalamazoo, MI. He began observing water seepage where the wall meets the floor. As a home inspector, Don knows what can happen when you don’t address issues of this nature. He smartly made the decision to address this water concern before it began developing into larger problems. We went to his home and diagnosed the issues he was facing in his basement; we then recommended installing WaterGuard to remedy the problem. WaterGuard was installed along the home's footing, beneath the concrete, the installment collects water along the base of the perimeter walls and safely directs it to the sump pump for discharge from his home. DoubleSafe is a safeguard feature that includes the use of two pumps to ensure this basement will stay dry, even in severe weather events. This Kalamazoo had some walls in the basement and crawl space that were starting to bowing. There wall also contained a lot of cracks in the walls which is not a good sign. We installed the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System to hault movement in the walls. This system is made up of flexible carbon fiber straps that are stronger in tension than steel. The straps are secured to the wall using a high strength resin to stabilize the wall. This system requires no exterior excavation, installs quickly, and won't impact future basement finishing.

This homeowner had some water issues in their particularly finished basement but where the water is coming in is not finished. Water bubbles up from the floor and water comes in where the floor meets the wall. We installed the WaterGuard system to keep the water out of the basement so that the family can finish it. The WaterGuard is a french drain that is under the floor to collect water and send it to the sump pump. We also installed the TripleSafe sump pump system to make sure that the water is expelled out of the house. The TripleSafe provides 3 levels of protection for the family in case of a power outage or one level stops working.
