This home was built back in the late 1970s, but for the first time, the owners recently discovered that water had been coming into the basement. Not only was water coming into the basement, it was also causing mold and mildew for the basement. They found a large crack in the poured concrete next to the support beam and spanned from the floor to ceiling. In the after photo, you can see the FlexiSpan solution. FlexiSpan is a two-layer polymer solution that both plugs the leaks and directs any seepage to the drain well down below. The FlexiSpan is the perfect thing to keep water out of this basement permanently.
The cracks that were sealed up in the before photo were caused by extra pressure being put on the wall creating an inward bend. This forced wall movement is referred to as bowing and is very common for soils that deal with a lot of rain or snowmelt. To counteract that force, the crew installed the GeoLock Anchor system in the after photo. The wall plate seen in the after photo is one of four. The plates are tied to the anchors with steel tie backs like the one running through the center. Not only will the plates resist the bowing movement, with any luck they may also restore the walls to their original upright position.

One customer in East Lansing, Michigan had a wall that was starting to bow, as visible by the stair-step cracking at the wall. This tells us that the wall is bowing and is getting worse. So, we decided to solve this problem by installing our Wall Anchor System. These are installed by digging a tiny hole in the soil a few feet away from the wall. Then, we drill a steel rod into your wall so that the wall can be anchored into the soil. Now the wall is saved and this homeowner no longer has to worry about his entire basement wall collapsing.
A customer in East Lansing came to us because getting in and out of the driveway involved driving over a big uneven spot. They called us to install our PolyLevel technology which would level out the whole driveway so that their driveway would be smooth as butter. PolyLevel is a foam that we inject into the slabs of concrete through very very small holes. Then, that foam raises the concrete and makes it stronger than ever. So, now this homeowner can go into their driveway with ease.
