Water was entering a customer’s basement through his walls. Not sure how to deal with this, he called our team and we installed BrightWall. Brightwall is made of white, plastic panels that will provide a waterproof and stain-resistant surface. BrightWall will keep water from seeping through cracks in your basement walls by acting as a vapor barrier. Lastly, these walls will help brighten your basement and never need painted or any other maintenance.
The concrete in Marshall’s driveway was uneven so he called our team. To fix his problem, we installed PolyLevel, a system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk by using polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. The process is quite simple and is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes. Also, the PolyLevel system is waterproof and long-lasting.
Joe and Brittany had an unfinished basement that they wanted to finish. Upstairs was getting crowded so they needed to add some rooms downstairs but to do that, they knew they would need an Egress window. Egress windows allow for a safe exit in case of emergencies. The large windows also allow for more fresh air and natural light to enter the space making it seem larger!
This Schoolcraft home had cracked and bowed walls in the basement. The owner wanted a solution that would stop the wall from moving and keep the home standing. We used CarbonArmor to stabilize the basement walls which installs quickly and will not take up any usable space or impact future basement finishings.
Christine was hoping to get a nice Egress Window installed for her basement that she was in the process of finishing. She realized Ayers sells Egress Windows so she decided to call. We had one of our crews come out to her home and begin the installation after she set the appointment with us!
Our Egress Windows are great for finishing basements because they are larger which opens up the space more. Many places legally require Egress Windows as well since they include a quick, safe exit option for emergency situations. If someone is going to be living down there, they probably don't want that dark, dungeon feel most basements have. This window will make the basement more inviting as more natural light and fresh air will fill the space. Not to mention they will add value to your home for the future and are waterproof.
With the benefits of the Egress Window being plentiful, Christine is happy with the final result!
